Thanksgiving Feast

We had a Thanksgiving feast just like the Pilgrims and Native Americans many years ago. We made costumes and wore them to our meal.  Thanksgiving lunch was good. The mashed potatoes were yummy!

Farm Day

Farm Day was lots of fun.

We made butter using a marble and cream. We shook the container until the marble stopped making noise. The butter was delicious on biscuits.

Next we milked a cardboard cow. We squeezed the glove to make the milk come out.

Then it was time for our picnic. We liked eating lunch outside. The food was yummy!

Finally it was our turn to visit the "farm." Farmer Ivey taught us about her animals. Our favorites were Bubble Gum the pony and Suzy the cow.

Walking School Bus

South School hosted the 1st annual Walking School Bus for MGSD.
Students enjoyed donut holes and juice while waiting to get started.

The Mooreville Police Department made sure we were safe on our walk.

We were excited to earn a Principal's Choice brag tag for our backpacks!!

What a healthy way to start our day!!
