Daily Word Problem

Mrs. Stutts bakes 2 pies. Ms. McDaniel bakes 3 pies. How many pies do they have in all?

    5 pies.

    We used the 10 frame. We put 2 pies for Mrs. Stutts. Then we put 3 pies for Ms. McDaniel. We counted 5 pies in all.
